CNC METAL SIGNS AND METAL SIGN ELEMENTS

We are pleased to announce the addition of a new dual-capability CNC machine that will enable us to cut steel, plexiglass, aluminum, or any variety of substrates; and rout with the precision that only a computer can afford, wood panels for signs. After having a 1/4" steel plate tree-line for the Buncombe County Sports Park sign cut on a CNC machine, we started researching the web and found a machine with the capabilities we were interested in. Our automated cutting system will have a cutting capacity of up to 6' x 12' without indexing the material. The X axis can be extended with indexing. Whether you need metal art ornaments, metal wall art, metal sculptures, or silhouettes our CNC machine will be up to the task. Our full CAD program will allow us to create shapes from scratch, duplicate them, and automatically nest them together to use the least possible material.

Our art department is very excited about the new arrival, and can hardly wait to design their first all-metal sign. Some of our previous signs have included metal elements like Beaverdam Gallery, where cutting with a torch was both time consuming and messy (the mountains are solid steel and the house with trees are metal elements, all cut by hand with a torch). The CNC machine will make quick, precise work of jobs similar to this one, have a lot less slag to clean up afterwards, and Jimmy is really looking forward to NOT routing by hand any more, unless absolutely necessary!
